Macaroni Salad

Classic Macaroni Salad is an easy and filling side dish!


    • 1 pound elbow macaroni
    • 1 cup mayonnaise
    • 1/2 cup white sugar
    • 2 ½ tablespoons prepared yellow mustard
    • 2 tablespoons Grandma’s Jam House sweet dill pickle juice
    • 1/3 cup Grandma’s Jam House Sweet Pepper Relish
    • 1 ½ teaspoons salt
    • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
    • 2 stalks celery, diced
    • 2 carrots, diced
    • Optional: 4 hard boiled eggs, chopped


1. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil.
2. Cook macaroni in boiling water, stirring occasionally, until tender yet firm to the bite.
3. Rinse under cold water, drain and allow to cool.
4. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sugar, mustard, pickle juice, relish, salt and pepper.
5. Add vegetables and mix.
6. Add pasta and eggs if desired.
7. Refrigerate salad for at least 4 hours before serving, but preferably overnight.
