Jam and Cream French Toast

Delicious breakfast and a dessert all rolled into one!


    • 2 tablespoons cream cheese, softened
    • 2 thick slices cinnamon-raisin bread
    • 2 tablespoons Grandma’s Jam House strawberry jam
    • 1 large egg
    • 1 tablespoon butter
    • Optional: Maple syrup


1. Spread cream cheese on 1 slice of bread.
2. Spread jam on the other slice.
3. place jam side down over the cream cheese.
4. In a shallow bowl, beat egg.
5. Dip both sides of bread into egg.
6. In a small skillet, melt butter.
7. cook bread for 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
8. Serve with syrup if desired.
• Substitute regular cinnamon bread--no raisins.
• Try with any of our delicious flavors of Grandma’s Jam House jam!
