Grilled Cheese and Jelly Sandwich

This deliciously creative, yet easy, twist takes the traditional grilled cheese sandwich to a whole new level. Try with different types of bread, cheese, and flavors of Grandma’s Jam House Jellies and Jams! Yum!


    • 2 slices French Bread
    • 3 – 4 slices Extra Sharp Cheddar Cheese
    • 1 Tablespoon Grandma’s Jam House Black Raspberry Jam
    • 1 Tablespoon Butter


1. Butter one side of one slice of bread
2. Place the bread, butter side down, in a hot cast iron skillet.
3. Place 3 – 4 slices of the cheese onto the bread.
4. Add a spoonful of the jelly/jam onto the cheese.
5. Butter one side of the remaining slice of bread.
6. Top sandwich with remaining slice, butter side out.
7. Flip sandwich after bottom slice becomes golden brown.
8. Once heated through, remove from pan
9. Enjoy!
