Granola makes a wonderful, healthy snack or breakfast. Make it your own by adding nuts, dried fruits, chocolate chips, or sunflower seeds. It makes a great gift too!


    • 2 cups whole wheat flour
    • 6 cups rolled oats
    • 1 cup coconut
    • 1 cup wheat germ
    • ½ cup water
    • 1 cup oil
    • 1 cup Grandma’s Jam House Honey
    • 2 teaspoons vanilla
    • 1 teaspoon salt


1. Preheat oven to 250.
2. Combine in large bowl: flour, oats, coconut and wheat germ.
3. Blend together in another bowl: water, oil, honey, vanilla, salt.
4. Add blended liquids to dry ingredients and mix thoroughly.
5. Spread out on 2 greased baking sheets and bake for 1 hour or until dry and golden.
6. Store in covered containers.
