The perfect choice to wake up your breakfast and add a little sunshine to your day!
Ingredients
2 cups sifted flour
1 ½ baking powder
½ teaspoon baking soda
¼ teaspoon salt
1/3 cup milk
1 egg, beaten
2 tablespoons melted butter
½ cup sugar
½ cup Grandma’s Jam House Orange Marmalade Jam
¼ cup chopped walnuts
Instructions
1. Combine milk, egg, butter, and sugar.
2. Add to dry ingredients. Stir only until flour is dampened.
3. Fold in marmalade and nuts, mixing as little as possible.
4. Spoon batter into greased 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan.
5. Bake at 350 for 1 hour and 40 minutes.
6. Cool before slicing.
